Never give up, never give in

As a baby I was sick every month. During elementary age through my early 20s, I suffered from chronic strep throat, ear infections, tonsillitis, sinus infections, bronchitis, eczema, and allergy problems. At 15 years old, I started experiencing shoulder, neck, and back pain and it continued as an adult, but with each passing year the fatigue and pain increased. Sometimes the pain would be “sharp” and other times it felt like it was “on fire,” or “burning” in the muscles. The doctors finally diagnosed me with fibromyalgia (FM). I took many of the medications that they suggested but some of the side effects were worse than the FM itself. The doctors who specialized in FM said they could give me medications to take an edge off the pain and fatigue, but it would only work for a couple of months, and I would have to start experimenting again. I felt like I had the flu 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By my mid-20s I was already overmedicated. We wanted to start a family, but the doctors said I should not take the medication while being pregnant. I had to ask myself, “If the medication was not safe for my baby, then why was it safe for me? If I started taking these medications while I was in my early 20s, what would my organs be like by the time I was only 40 years old?”

I started praying and searching for a natural remedy for relief of my back pain, fatigue, and other health problems. I knew I was not healthy enough to carry a baby. My answer was the AIM products. The first thing I noticed after taking AIM’s barley juice product was I started sleeping through the night. I was waking up 6-8 times each night. I seemed to be in a “fog” most of the day, but after the barley, I soon began to think more clearly. After I started taking the barley two times a day, I no longer felt sleepy after lunch. My back pain started diminishing, along with the allergies, eczema, fatigue, and digestive problems.

I soon started taking AIM Herbal Fiberblend®. It cleans out the colon and kills parasites in the colon. The pain and fatigue of the FM diminished even more. The chronic colon problems disappeared (irritable bowel syndrome) along with the eczema and allergy problems. Once a year I take AIM Para 90® to kill the parasites throughout my body. We give our cats, dogs, cattle, and horses, etc., medication to kill worms, so why should we not kill the parasites in our bodies too? Parasites cause many diseases and studies show that the majority of Americans has them.

The combination of the fiber blend and barley cleared my thinking, but once I added AIM FloraFood®, my thinking was the clearest it had ever been. I felt like I had lived my entire life in a fog due to the Candida build-up in my body. I was excited that I was feeling so much better, the best since high school, but I was still on a quest to be totally free of pain and fatigue.
After I had each baby, the pain and fatigue returned from the FM. If I had it to do over again, I would have taken extra AIM BarleyLife® and AIM Renewed Balance® after I had each baby. My body needed more nutrients to nurse a baby for 17 months and I do not think my ovaries were producing enough progesterone.

After weaning my second baby, I had a period for two weeks each month. Various doctors had many different explanations and just as many solutions for my problem. I decided to try my own solution … AIM Renewed Balance®. Within several months, I was having a normal period and experiencing no PMS at all. I also take AIM Herbal Release® to help cleanse the toxins out of the lymphatic system (includes your tonsils and adenoids). The lymph system helps to rid the toxins from our body. It does not have a pump to keep it moving, so it moves out the toxins when we exercise. Yet when you have FM it is hard to find the energy to exercise.

I also take AIM Proancynol® 2000 for added antioxidants (especially in the winter time). I take AIM Composure® as needed to calm me when I am under stress or when I need help sleeping. I also take AIM Bear Paw Garlic® when I feel a cold, sore throat, cough, or any sickness coming on (along with AIM BarleyLife® or the AIM Garden Trio® three times a day). It helps to kill bacteria, fungus, and some viruses. When I sprain an ankle or pull a muscle, I will take AIM Frame Essentials® several times a day to heal the injury faster. I had eight amalgam fillings and research showed that the mercury in my mouth was causing many of the symptoms of the FM. I took AIM HumiKleanse® to help detoxify the mercury until 2005 when I had my fillings replaced with a safer product.

AIM Cell Wellness Restorer® is an incredible product to reduce pain and inflammation when rubbed on a sore or painful area. If I eat certain foods, the trigger spots in my back hurt. Now I can rub the CWR on the spots and the pain goes away. My son broke his collarbone and after only three weeks of using the CWR and BL, the X-rays showed that the bone had healed and he had no pain. The CWR also helps to heal sunburns too. A combination of the AIM products along with stretching, weight training, cardiovascular training, reduction in stress, eating healthy, and drinking lots of water allows me to be symptom free of my many health problems. Despite all of these health problems, with God, determination, and the AIM products, I managed to lose 30 pounds, get back into shape, and started competing in fitness competitions at 30 years old. Competing against girls in their early 20s, I managed to climb my way up to the top to win the Texas competition and placed second in the world championship. After retiring from competing in fitness, I competed in martial arts and was part of the West Texas Demo Team. The karate team demonstrated a combination of karate, tumbling, and breaking boards. I not only regained my health, but was able to do back handsprings, back flips, aerials, and many other tumbling moves combined with karate. The AIM products not only gave me a better quality of life, but I am able to say that during my mid-30s, I had the speed, quickness, endurance, and strength that I did in high school.

In 2003 I had two knee surgeries just a few months apart. It shocked my body in various ways that caused the fibromyalgia symptoms to return. Soon after the second surgery, I got West Nile Virus from a mosquito. I was bedridden for two months due to the pain and fatigue which caused me to only be able to be out of bed for 15 minutes every 3-4 hours. During the eight weeks, I drank a gallon of water a day and took many of the AIM products 3-4 times a day but I knew I would not be pain free overnight. The West Nile Virus broke my body down in many different ways, but I feel like the AIM products allowed me to recover at a faster pace than normal. I am thankful for God and the AIM products for allowing me to regain my health and have a better quality of life.
