USSBT—Your Formula for Success
Many successful AIM Members did not begin with a business in mind. Many enjoyed tremendous results with AIM products and woke up one day to the startling realization, “Hey, I’m in business!” For years, we have affectionately referred to these “accidental” business-builders as DITBIBs (people who Didn’t Intend To Be In Business).
Although these Members may not have joined AIM with the purpose of building a business, most DITBIBs readily acknowledge that several important factors have contributed to their success. In fact, five factors stand out as common denominators for every successful AIM business. We call these factors “USSBT,” and they are the keys to a successful business.
As you start to reach out to younger prospects, you’ll discover that many of them DO intend to be in business. Corporate downsizing, an unpredictable economy, the disappearance of the pension, and the desire to balance work and family goals all contribute to people wanting to own their own businesses.
When you introduce younger entrepreneurs to the AIM business, you’ll want to teach them the easily duplicated USSBT plan, so they can enjoy their own success. Let’s take a look at how it works.
Use the AIM products
The majority of AIM Members sign up simply to purchase one or more of the AIM products at wholesale prices. This is a great beginning. Before any further steps are taken, you must be confident that the products work, and nothing is more convincing for you or for those with whom you share the products than your own positive experience.
Share the AIM products
After experiencing positive results with the AIM products, it is only natural to share them with others. A twist of this scenario also occurs. When you experience tremendous results, people notice and want what you have. Some Members have had such obvious improvement in their health that their business has “taken off” because family members, friends, even acquaintances asked the exciting questions, “What has happened to you? And how can I get it to happen to me?”
Sponsor others
Every successful AIM Member has learned the value of sponsoring others. Through sharing AIM products with others, you begin to build a base of regular customers. Most customers enjoy the opportunity not only to purchase products at wholesale prices, but to work directly with AIM. And while AIM supplies Members’ product needs, sponsors can focus on their Members’ educational and business needs. Don’t hesitate to offer AIM membership to any regular customer. This allows you to be more efficient and effective with your time and increase your business tremendously, while opening an exciting door for your customer. Everyone wins!
Build strong relationships
Perhaps you are beginning to notice that these factors are not only simple, but they tend to occur in a natural progression. This is why DITBIBs may say, “It just happened!” They genuinely care about the customers and Members they serve. This naturally leads them to incorporate the first three factors, plus a fourth—building relationships—into their AIM business. Getting to know your Members through regular, enthusiastic follow-up is the key to a long-lasting AIM business and strong relationships. These relationships have several purposes. First, they add a richness to your AIM business that you will cherish for years to come. Second, through truly knowing your Members, you can focus your efforts where they will be of greatest benefit. Third, they result in loyal downline Members and a long-lived business.
Teach others to do the same
The final factor that is true of every successful Member is their love of teaching what they know. They not only share AIM products, they share what they’ve learned about nutrition and how they operate their AIM business. Whether they teach formally, in individual or group settings, or by example, successful AIM Members teach their downline what they know.
